My new rescue dog is making a honking cough. Could it be kennel cough?

I just got my dog from a rescue. Yesterday and now i noticed she sometime honks ssome is shhe okay. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 2 years old | 6 lbs

This is probably caused by a common disease , a viral/bacterial infection called Kennel cough, this disease usually resolves without treatment within a couple weeks but if the cough is too severe it is recommended to go to the vet in order to get cough medicine and antibiotics.
