My cat's jaw moves weird, not drinking, was outside. Is it rabies?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 5 years and 1 month old | 15 lbs

his jaw is moving weird somtimes hes not up to date with his rabies shot has no sores but a coupe scabs on his ear. his throat is inflames and a pinkish white sore on his tounge he is a inside cat he just got locked out one night. theres a clear sticky fluid on his mouth. and he dosent wan to drink his water. I just hope its not rabies he hasn't been foaming its been 2 weeks hes just not drinking water. he will eat his food though.

Once an animal becomes symptomatic for rabies they typically decline rapidly so if these symptoms have been present for two weeks rabies is unlikely. If he is not vaccinated however there still could be some concern and it would be best to let a veterinarian determine the risk - particularly since there is risk for exposure to people. A few other causes of drooling include a tooth problem, wound or a virus causing ulcers in the mouth.
