Hi and thanks for posting. If your kitten is not wanting to open its eye and the eye is watering, it may have an eye infection that will need treatment by a veterinarian. Your veterinarian will do an eye exam and may prescribe antibiotics or other medications as needed. Eye infections can be very uncomfortable so I would recommend taking the kitten in soon. I hope this helps and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

I'm hate to hear that Hoor is having some problems. The most likely cause is either viral infection or a scratch to they eye. I would recommend to take her into the veterinarian to have the eye stained to look for a scratch. They will also prescribe her a medication to put in the eye to fight infection. In the mean time, keep the eye clean and you can flush it with saline daily but likely she needs medication to beat the infection. I hope she feel better soon!
