My cat's white fur spots are growing. Is this normal or concerning?

The white fur spots have gotten bigger since we adopted our cat in December 2017. The cat is about 1 year old. Should we be concerned that the white fur spots have gotten larger in the last 5 months? There is fur in those areas and no signs of balding. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 8 lbs

If it is not associated with itchiness or discomfort, there is no need to be concerned about this.
