My 2-month puppy pooped worms again. Should I take her to the vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 15 days old | 1.6 lbs

I have a 2 month toy Chihuahua and was the warmed 2 week ago she poop out worms 2 days later and was good but she just poop out worms again is it normal. She has an appointment to get her next dewormer on May 14. Should I worry and take her in to the vet. She is happy and eating well.

Puppies do need to be dewormed routinely usually every two weeks for at least two and sometimes up to four doses. This is very common. Puppies get worms from their mothers when they are nursing so it is something we expect. It may be helpful to bring a fecal sample to your veterinarian at your next appointment so they can check and make sure the dewormer they are giving Mitzi is appropriate for the type of worms that she has. If she is not having diarrhea, no vomiting, and is eating well and still playful and you can probably wait until your appointment on May 14.
