My puppy was dewormed 5 days ago. When should I give the next dose?

I dewormed my puppy with protector 2x. Five days ago. Could I go on and give another dose now or do I have to wait. I got the puppy at six weeks of age and it had never been dewormed. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | 1 month and 16 days old | 1lb

There is no need to deworm Piglet now if she had the tablet 5 days ago. You should wait another 10 days before you deworm her again. The reason for that is that this medication kills all adult forms of the worms but it does not kill the eggs. It takes about 14 days for the eggs to became adult worms, so the second dose will get rid of the newly hatched parasites.
