Pet's info: Cat | Tonkinese | Female | spayed | 5 years and 4 months old
My cat usually has hairball moments once in a while, she has had 2 in span of a month but I noticed she never produces a hairball, I looked up Utube videos and asthma and hairball look very similar now I’m confused, she doesn’t wheeze or breath with her mouth opened at all during the day, she’s asleep now and I counted that she breaths 16 breaths/min, I’m worried it could be feline asthma, what signs should I watch out for?

I recommend you have Kitty examined by your veterinarian. If this is feline asthma it is important to get it treated as soon as possible. Your veterinarian will also be able to make recommendations for foods and supplements to help reduce hair balls if that is the problem.
