My cat is throwing up liquid. Should I take her to the vet or use OTC?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | spayed | 7 lbs

My cat has been throwing up a liquid all morning and i have not changed her food. I was wondering if there is over the counter medications or what i could do try to help minizine the amount of throwing up. Thank you.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. There are no effective over the counter products for this. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Mia evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check her hydration status and give her medications to make her feel better. Good luck!
