My dog ate chicken broth with garlic. Is it toxic? What to know?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 65 lbs

My parents were dogsitting and said they just fed my dog about 2cups of broth left over from their chicken cooked with Lipton Recipe Secrets savory herb with Garlic to my 65 pound Staffordshire terrier mix. Is this a toxic dose?

There is likely not enough garlic in the broth to cause intoxication in a 65 lbs dog. Usually the toxic effects will not show until a few days after ingestion, so watch for clinical signs of anemia which include lethargy, pale gums, an elevated heart rate, an increased respiratory rate, weakness, exercise intolerance, and collapse. However, as I said before, I do not think your dog ingested a toxic dose.
