My betta is sinking and struggling to swim. Could it be swim bladder?

Pet's info: Fish | Unknown - Fish | Male | unneutered

I am trying to see does my betta have swim bladder. I seen today he is sitting at the bottom on the tank. When he tries to swim to the top he awkward tries to swim but it more vertically and he sinks back down. I changed out his water and lowered the water in his tank so he can get to the surface better. I think i might have overfed him but I only feed him once a day. I been researching possible issues but I want to make sure. Could it be swim bladder?

Check the water temperature. Low temps can affect activity, appetite and digestion in fish. Bettas do best between 78 F and 80 F. Maintain clean, heated water and fast him for 2-3 days. Resume feeding bits of cooked, shelled green peas until he is swimming and defecating normally. You can soak pellets in some garlic juice to stimulate his appetite and give him an immune system boost.
