My dog has bloody jelly stools, dark urine, and is acting sick.

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

My dog is not drinking much, has dark urine, is not playing, and had bloody (dark red) stools that are a jelly consistency. this has been going on for 5 days. He also looks very old even though he is only 5 (face and ears have whitened) he is a beagle mix.

Hi and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Jedi needs to see a veterinarian ASAP. Everything you listed sounds like he is critically dehydrated and has some GI tract hemorrhaging. There are several disease that can cause these issues, and Jedi may require some bloodwork or other labwork to determine the cause of his illness. He may need hospitalization for IV fluids or some other therapy. Please take Jedi in as soon as possible, without treatment, dehydration can cause critical illness or even death.
