My cat is making strange sounds, retching, and can't breathe. Help!

My cat is making strange sounds. Seems like she can’t breathe properly and she make retching sounds as if she is trying to vomit but nothing happens. How can I help her? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 11 months old | 11 lbs

Bella may actually be coughing (coughing can look very similar to vomiting in a Cat), or she may have something stuck in the back of her throat that is bothering her. If you think she is having difficulty breathing I would recommend seeing an emergency veterinarian right away. Difficulty breathing is always a serious sign in a cat and it is better to err on the side of caution.
