My dog has a large, bleeding growth on his foot. What should I do?

My dog is aroun 9 years old..having a large yst type outgrowth over its foot..its very big in size and bleed alot.. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male

This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. Regardless, given the size of it, removal is likely needed to improve his comfort. Good luck and have a good day!
