My dog has a dark spot on his stomach. Is it a rash or something else?

Hi, I noticed a large rash on my dogs stomach recently. I'm not sure how long it's been there but it doesn't seem to bother him - it is just much darker than normal. I wanted to see if this was anything to be alarmed about. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 48 lbs

This looks like staining from either Rocky always getting a little urine on himself when he pees or form him chronically licking this area. From the pictures, the skin doesn't look red or irritated but if it does, I would have your vet take a look at it. You could also have the hair shaved in that area to prevent urine from getting on that area if you discover that is the cause. If it is from licking, you could try some Benadryl twice a day.
