My cat's paw has a growth after a fight. Is it infected? Does he need surgery?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 8 lbs

My cat has gotten in fights and is now recovering. From the fights he lots 2 of his claws on the insides of both paws. Now one paw is getting a growth and I am concerned. What should I do? Does he need surgery? His other paw looks like it healed up fine but he is gimping alot and will not walk on the one.

It looks like he could have an infection so he should be examined by a vet for treatment. Your vet can prescribe an antibiotic to see if it will resolve. If not, then surgery may need to be done to remove the lesion.
