Puppy ate salami, now vomiting and bloody stool. Should I see vet?

Yesterday my boyfriend gave our puppy shadow a little bit of hard salami and he's been throwing up alot since then and lying around to. Today we didn't feed him anything yet and he's still throwing up also drinking water and his bowel movement is runny and reddish to. Is this normal for an upset stomach or should I be worried. I have boneless skinless chicken and rice I was going to boil the chicken and mix chicken and rice together. Now hes throwing up water to. What can I do? Pet's info: Dog | Catahoula Leopard Dog | Male | neutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 60 lbs

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Shadow evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!
