Lucy keeps closing her right eye and licks it and wipes it with her hand but it doesn't have any oozing and looks normal except that she keeps closing it.can it be simething dangerous?

Hello. She is definitely uncomfortable with her eye. It is impossible to say if there is a small lesion on her cornea ( scratch ) or if a small foreign body has worked its way under the third eyelid. She could also have the beginnings of conjunctivitis usually related to an upper respiratory infection. If left untreated, it could get worse, it is hard to say without an exam. If the eye continues to bother her, please have her seen hopefully before any further damage occurs to the eye. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
