Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | neutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 50 lbs
I’m so tired of loki at the moment. He’s over he top all the time and he can’t be around other dogs because he’ll just straight up attack them to assert his dominance, he breaks in and eats the cats poop, scratches on doors, is very possessive of me and growls when I even hug my boyfriend, steals food off tables, chews up my underwear and makeup brushes. I used to have a close relationship with him but now it’s getting hard. How do I improve this? I could never give him away I made a commitment.

I'm sorry to hear you are having such hard time with Loki. Behavior can be complicated and any time a pet shows any signs of aggression, it is safest to work with a certified trainer. The trainer will observe the behavior and then will discuss ways to adjust your behavior in order to influence his. Loki needs daily hard exercise and a training routine which may help to improve his behavior. Likely he will out grow some of these behaviors as well but some pets do not. Trainers and behaviorist can be found online and you can also ask your vet for any recommendations. I hope this helps to lead you in the right direction!
