My senior cat won't eat, hides, and seems weak. Should I see a vet?

our 10 year old femail cat has not eaten in a couple days. she will drink and urinates. she hides under a bed for most of the day. seems weak but still moves around. Has kind of snotty discharge from her eyes. she has lot weight. should i try to ride it out? I'm thinking prob have to take her in?

No, do not ride this out! This is a medial emergency, and she has to see a vet now. It's extremely serious when a cat doesn't eat, and if she hasn't eaten in a couple of days, she's likely developed a fatty liver. That is fatal without treatment. Please take her into a vet now.
