Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 20 days old
My kitten (just under a year old) has diarrhea. The stool was quite runny but no sign of blood or worms. Light brown in colour. She herself seems fine - eating, purring, playing. However, as she goes outside now I have no way of knowing if the diarrhea improves (I only knew she had it because she was trapped inside for a short while as the room leading to her cat flap had the door shut). Do I need to keep an eye on her to see if she changes in any way or should I take her to the vet ASAP? Thanks

Poor Holly. I'd keep her indoors for now while doing a home remedy. That way, you can see if the diarrhea improves or not. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
