My chicken's eye has been swollen for months. How can I treat it?

I'm not sure what's wrong with the hen , I think it suffers from eye inflamation, this had been for almost 5 months , with no improvement What can I do to help ? Pet's info: Farm Animal | Farm Chicken | Female | 20 lbs

Thanks for reaching out about your chicken and including a photo. Has you seen a veterinarian yet? This appears to be a sinus infection, whether bacterial, fungal or viral, needs to be determined. Isolation from other birds is recommended to decrease contamination but also to monitor water/food intake. Providing heat support could make more comfortable. Good luck.
