My kittens have frequent diarrhea. What food helps their digestion?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 18 days old

I have 2 kittens, 3 week apart in age and obviously not the same litter. They both frequently get diarrhoea, then it will be okay, then bad again on and off. They are on science plan dry food and purino pro plan kitten wet food. Is there any food that is good for gastro especially or any recommendations? They both eat well and act like normal kitten generally. They are 6 and 5 month old

Are you sure it's gastro and not something else like intestinal worms causing their diarrhea? Given that they both are having problems with it frequently, it's time to see a vet. I'd take them into one today.
