Yes I I am fostering a few ferrets and the ferret rescue people will not be up for another couple of hours I work the night shift and I noticed that this ferret here started kind of hacking and then has a runny nose and his mouth open and like he's panting but other than that he wants to play he wants to eat on this is just it looks like he's breathing more rapidly I just like to know how I can stabilize him until the Rescuers can come in and intervene

Thanks for reaching out. A veterinary visit is recommended sooner than later. Ferrets are prone to bacterial and viral (influenza) infections. Gastric problems (foreign bodies, infections) can also appear like respiratory problems due to discomfort and nausea. Separate from other ferrets to limit exposure. Good luck.
