Hi there, Money is a bit tight right now, so I am trying to figure out if I need to take my budgie to the vet. I noticed a few days ago that his tail seemed to be bobbing slightly more than normal, though not too vigorously. He is a bit skittish, so I thought maybe he was just anxious about something. However, I just noticed he has thrown up a little. He appears to be eating, drinking, and moving normally. He also appears to be having both liquidy and normal stools. This can be due to a respiratory infection, enlarged organ (liver, spleen), nutritional deficiencies or excesses (overweight) and others. Regurgitation can also be a sign of illness, with the above mentioned or ingested foreign bodies, toxicities. A veterinary visit is recommended, especially if continues to regurgitate or have increased breathing problems. Good luck.
