My cat ate a few black eyed Susan petals but already threw them up. He is eating and acting fine. Do I need to be concerned?

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question. The Black Eyed Susan is moderately toxic to cats and causes vomiting, which you have seen. Given that he has thrown up the petals and is acting normally now, I'd just keep an eye on him for now. If he starts vomiting again, then I would have him seen by a vet. Move the plant out of his reach so he cannot eat anymore. Best of luck.
