Pet's info: Fish | Betta | Female

Hi! My betta fish is taking more time chewing her food then normal. She has been losing a bit of her tail, so I wonder if it's fun rot. She has black spots on her tail. Please help!

Thanks for reaching out about M.S. Check and correct water quality for pH, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates as water quality problems can often lead to dermal problems. Increased time chewing could be due to illness, oral disease, gill problems and more. To properly assess, a veterinary visit is recommended. Good luck.
