My picky dog won't eat for a day or two. Is this normal behavior?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 63 lbs

Is it normal for my dog to not eat for a day or 2? He's a very picky eater and barely eats and some days doesn't at all

If he has always been this way, has no other GI symptoms like vomiting or diarrhea, and is in good body condition (not overly thin), then it's likely normal for him - some dogs just don't eat as much as others, and may not be hungry every day. But if this has started recently, or if he's been losing weight or having any other symptoms of a problem, then I would be concerned about a possible medical issue. In that case, I would recommend taking him to the vet for an exam and some diagnostic testing to help determine what might be wrong.
