My kitten is vomiting and has diarrhea after amoxicillin. What to do?

Sunday my kitten got pretty sick. We took him to the emergency vet and they gave him some antibiotics. He's acting fine now and is still super playful, but he started throwing up some and having diarrhea. He's still eating and drinking normally as well, I'm just wondering if it's a side effect to his medicine, amoxicillin, or if I should take him back to the vet. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 month and 19 days old

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could certainly be a side effect of the antibiotics though it could also be due to disease per se. For that reason, I recommend you check in with the veterinarian who prescribed the medication as they have more knowledge on the specifics on the case.
