My dog's tongue is bleeding for days and won't stop. What to do?

beloved 9 year old choc. lab/retriever cross is bleeding from just underneath the tip of her tongue. This has been going on for 2 days now and we cannot stop the bleeding. She is otherwise completely normal, eating, playing, etc. please advise. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 8 years and 11 months old | 60 lbs
