My dog keeps vomiting white mucus and won't eat, what should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | 7 years and 5 months old | 99 lbs

When my dog was vomiting white and nit eating anything his vet offered him with PAN IV along with Zofar via saline. But as it was having a psychological impact on him his vet shifted to PAN 40 tablets and Liquid Antacid along with a tablet named Mitrus. But still I find him vomiting white and severe loss of apetite. His vomit is filled with mucus sticky substance. So if you could help me I would be thankful to you.

I think you should discuss with your vet the cause of the vomiting. Treating with antacids and anti-nausea medications is helpful in simple cases of upset stomach and mild cases of pancreatitis, but if the treatments aren't helping, there may be something more serious going on. Blood work and x-rays would be a good starting point.
