How to potty train a puppy that pees inside when not confined?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 14 days old | 10 lbs

Housebreaking 20 week old cavapoo he is good all night, good in crate or tethered but minute let loose even when watching him, he will go in the house. What should my response be?

Continue the crate training and the tethering. Keep him on a leash outside. Continue to praise him when he goes outside and eliminate his opportunities to have accidents in the house. Be patient. Most puppies are not housebroken until a minimum of 6 months old. Also have him neutered between 5-6 months of age as intact males can be more difficult to housebreak. i hope this helps.
