My new cat is hacking and throwing up white foam. Should I see a vet?

I took in a cat from someone who was moving away, he was hiding the first two days but now he seems to be coming out of hiding but making hacking noises and throwing up white foam it’s been for like two days now and I am unsure of why it’s keeps happening it’s happens at least two times a day now. If Oreo is new to your home and you gave him a different food than before, that could be the cause of his vomiting. It could also be he has a GI illness, ate something rotten, could have a foreign body, or could have pancreatitis. Because he has been vomiting for two days, it's time to see a vet. I would take him into one asap.
