my dogs vet recommended that my dog should be neutered. what are the pros/cons? my grandmas dog gained a lot of weight after her surgery and still has some behavior problems. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered

I highly recommend neutering all dogs at 6 months of age. Pros: less behavioral problems, no testicular cancer, decreased risk if any risk of prostatic diseases. Cons: You have to watch what they eat because their metabolism doesn't have the hormones that typically speed it up. It is healthier for your dog to neuter him.
