Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 11 years and 1 month old
My cat is 11 years old and until last year been an indoor cat (in an apartment). She now has daily access to the garden but this last week, she's been eating grass and then seemingly having a fit that can last over a minute. Is this a failed vomit? I'm rather concerned. Any advice please

Pets can sometimes eat grass in order to try and settle an upset stomach or to force themselves to vomit. While in most cases it may not be harmful, if this has been ongoing for several days, there are other signs of illness, or this is a new symptom/activity that happened recently, a vet visit to rule out issues such as GI upset, parasites, obstructions, etc is always a good idea.
