Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered | 4 years and 9 months old | 12 lbs
Why is my cat recently just started vomiting? Is it because he eats too much? We only feed him 2 a day, morning and night.

Vomiting in cats can be caused by many different things. He could have a viral infection, parasite, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, hyperthyroidism, hair balls, etc. If he is otherwise acting normal, you could try some OTC hairball medicine and see if that helps. You could add a probiotic (Fortiflora, Proviable, etc.) to his diet, too. Also, make sure to feed a high quality food. If the vomiting continues and/or he stops eating or becomes lethargic then he needs to be examined by a vet for treatment. Your vet can run bloodwork and take x-rays to help diagnose. Your vet can also check a stool sample to make sure he doesn't have an intestinal parasite.
