Pet's info: Dog | Havanese | Male | neutered | 6 years and 9 months old | 11 lbs
his eyes have become a little bit cloudy over the past few days. I know he gets severe seasonal allergies. Could this be a symptom of that? He is a 6 year old Havanese.

Hi there! It's difficult to say what might be going on without being able to examine Paco or at least see a photo of his eyes - but in general, allergy issues would not cause the eyes to appear cloudy. Depending on which specific part of the eye looks cloudy, this could be a sign of cataracts, glaucoma, anterior uveitis (inflammation of the inner parts of the eye), or a corneal scratch or ulcer. Some of these problems can be serious, so I would recommend taking Paco to the vet to have his eyes examined as soon as you are able to. The vet should be able to give you a better idea of what's going on after the exam and will let you know what treatment is needed.
