Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 6 years and 2 months old | 10 lbs

Hi, took in a stray cat 4 weeks ago. Took to vet had all shots. Is getting along great with our other two cats. Does not have much of an apatite. Very skinny, no worms. Other 2 cats nice and plump. How can we get out new cat to eat? He is about 6 years old. Feed him quality wet and dry. Thank you

If the new cat is slowly gaining weight then I would not be too concerned. He probably spent much of his life underfed/scrounging for food so it will take a while for him to catch up. If you want to increase his calorie intake try feeding him a high quality kitten food as these tend to have more calories than a regular cat diet. If after a couple of months Coaco is still not gaining weight or his loses his appetite or starts losing weight then you may want to consider having some lab work performed at your vet to make surew there is nothing else going on. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
