Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Male | neutered | 4.8 lbs
My kitten keeps urinating out of the litter box and we do have another kitten in the house. We swapped their rooms and I was wondering if this is just a way for him of marking his territory. He poops fine in the litterbox it's just sometimes he urinates out of it. It's quite a small puddle and he doesn't do it very often. Is there anything I can do to get him to urinate in the litter box.

This is a fairly common problem. You are correct, it could be at least in part due to a "territory" situation. Make sure there are at least 3 litter boxes in your house if you have 2 cats (the number of boxes should be the number of cats plus one). You can try the cat litter brand "Cat Attract," which often is helpful. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/precious-cat-dr-elseys-kitten-attract-scoopable-cat-litter Here are some other resources with information I think you will find helpful: https://www.petcoach.co/article/inappropriate-elimination-urination-defecation-spraying-in/ https://www.catbehaviorassociates.com/some-common-reasons-why-cats-stop-using-the-litter-box/ Thank you for asking PetCoach!
