Dog scratching ear, whimpering, and one ear is now floppy. What's wrong?

So i heard my dog scratching her ear and i think she was also whimpering while doing it. She has both ears up now and after scratching, that one itchy ear is suddenly floppy. Its not pointing up. Just wondering why. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 23 days old | 4.8 lbs

It's probably an ear infection, often it cannot be seen from the outside.
