My puppy has diarrhea, vet is unavailable. Should I feed him?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 16 days old | 4 lbs

My labrador puppy 47 days old puppy is having diarhea i think he ate something from the kitchen floor i gave him 2 teaspoon yogurt he ate it currently i am feeding him pedigree puppy veg i gave him the last meal at 5 am and 10 am and yogurt at 6 pm now its 8 pm should i feed him more ?? I am currently giving him lots of water we have only one vet in our town Rajpura punjab India he is currnetly out of town what should i do ?? He pooped twice I am giving him as much rest as possible

Yes, I would keep offering him small meals and drinks - the bowel recovers much quicker when a patient is fed as it requires the nutrition from food in order to repair (the bowel cannot get nutrition from body reserves in the same way that other organs can). Bland, low fat meals are recommended

    You can feed boiled chicken and plain boiled rice to be easier on his stomach. At his age I would wait on the medicines until your vet can check him for parasites and make sure nothing else is going on
