My dog has parvo. Can he eat and drink during his treatment?

My dog has parvo and I was wondering if it's ok for him to eat and drink while getting treated for it. I know it may sound weird but I want to make sure that it's ok. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 34.2 lbs

Yes if he is willing and able then it is ok. I would recommend fresh water, electrolyte solution and liquid food all be offered. Bland, low fat meals in liquid/gruel texture is less likely to trigger vomiting
