My 8-week-old puppy went outside. Worried about parvo. Bathe him?

I took my 8 week old pup outside to pee this morning. i read im not suppose to, what do i do? bathe him?

Yes it is not advised to let a puppy that is not fully vaccinated outside in areas that could have been contaminated with parvovirus. This is typically any dirt/grass area that could have been contaminated in the past 2-3 years, because the virus can live in the environment for a very long time. I would recommend bathing to remove any possible residue on Tuca's feet and then keep him inside for the most part until he is fully vaccinated. If you have a property that you have owned for more than several years that you are sure no parvo sick dogs were, then that is also safe for him to go.
