Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 13 years and 7 months old | 12 lbs
Symptoms are in male cat right ear. No odor, just looks dirty and he's always shaking his head or scratching at the ear. Loses his balance occasionally. His owner abandoned them and I have ZERO money to have a vet see him. I feel bad that obviously the ear bothers him and afraid it may spread to his brother. They're about 14 years old. He needs treatment but they require seeing a vet. I need to find them a forever home at the same time this needs attention. I can't get pic

These poor kitties. I cannot believe that the owner abandoned them, that is horrible. I can give you some resources that may help you afford a vet. You see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants. Best Friends also has a list of resources that offer financial assistance on their website. http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_pet.html?credit=web_id91754962 https://www.redrover.org https://www.carecredit.com http://bestfriends.org/resources/financial-aid-pets http://lessonsfromaparalyzeddog.com/when-pet-owners-cant-afford-veterinary-bills/ http://www.dogheirs.com/resources-affordable-veterinary-care/ You can also contact the SPCA to see if they can help you.
