My puppy has a neck lump after rabies shot. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 16 days old | 9 lbs

My corgi pup just got her rabies shot on march 11, and now there is a lump on the back of her neck. It is not painful, but is about the size of a silver dollar and an inch high. Should I be doing something about it?

You can see a lump where the vaccine is given. This should go away. Keep an eye on the lump, and if it gets bigger, starts to bother Jasmine, or it doesn't go away in the next few days, have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
