Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It looks like Lucy may have a wound or a cut on her foot that is bleeding, which should be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as you can get her there. A veterinarian can shave the fur from the area and examine the wound, and determine if it needs to be sutured or if it is something that will heal on its own. The vet can also prescribe antibiotics to help reduce the risk of infection, and pain medications to help Lucy feel better and in less pain. Please do not give any pain medications that are intended for humans to Lucy, as these can be fatally toxic to dogs. In the meantime, you can try gently wiping the area with a damp paper towel if Lucy will allow it to try to remove any debris. I hope this is helpful!
