Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 10 months and 27 days old | 48 lbs
My dog has had diarrhea with blood all day (at daycare) but has behaved normally and was active until dinner which she threw up. Last month we noticed pimples on her belly which has gone away since then. Also she's been scratching a lot more than usual for the past few weeks. She has also been licking her butt frequently. She currently has: Gums pink, cap refill time w/in 1 sec. What can I do tonight to help her feel more comfortable? Is this a bigger problem that requires immediate action?

It sounds as Kiwi is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.
