How to stop my 6-month-old kitten from pooping outside the litter box?

Hope do I get my 6mo old kitten to stop doing potty outside of the cat box? I got a huge litter box , he only pees in it towards the edge but potty is outside. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 months and 24 days old | 7 lbs

Try making your own litter box. Get a Tupperware container with sides high enough that she cannot urinate over the edge. Then cut a hole high enough that her normal positioning to urinate will not spill over the hole. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
