Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years and 11 months old | 5 lbs
My cat has started to vomit regularly - she has an episode every 10-14 days. Sometimes this is regurgitated food, but the last two occasions have been liquid. Other than this she maintains normal behaviour, she still wants feeding shortly after the episodes and her toilet habits are unchanged. Should I take her in to the vet or is this nothing to be too worried about?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Vomiting can be observed with gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, inflammatory bowel disease, food sensitivity, foreign body ingestion and obstruction or other conditions such as pancreatitis or kidney disease. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Likely diagnostics to be performed include abdominal imaging and general bloodwork. Treatment would depend on findings. Good luck and have a great day!
