Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 5 months and 26 days old | 32 lbs
All of a sudden my dog has been having strange accidents. We trained her to use a bell when she needs to go out to use the bathroom. This has been working great for the last month or two. In the last day or so i have been noticing her sprinkling when excited and some accidents here and there. For example today after i took her out to the bathroom about a half hour later she rang the bell and i got up and saw a trail of pee leading to the door, as if she couldn’t hold it as she was walking.

Harley is still young, so there is a chance this is still behavioral. Sometimes they can revert temporarily. I do however recommend to have her seen by her veterinarian to have her urine checked for an infection. An infection in the bladder is a very common reason dogs can suddenly start to have accidents in the house. She can’t talk and tell you, so it’s best just to play it safe. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
