Hello, my dogs nail grew a lot and it got into his paw and now it’s stuck. What should I do?

Bolt needs to see the veterinarian. Ingrown nails can be painful and prone to infection. They will clip and remove the nail (which may require sedation), flush the wound and likely put him on antibiotics. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

You can cut it, and clean out the area with warm water and antiseptic soap. I would still have Mickey seen by a vet in the morning because the area may be infected and he might need antibiotics to treat it. The vet can prescribe antibiotics if needed.
